De kwartfinale in de Champions League tussen PSG en FC Barcelona wordt vooral de wedstrijd van Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Dankzij de UEFA, die zijn schorsing reduceerde, mag de grillige Zweedse spits vandaag toch spelen. Zo kan hij een beetje wraak nemen op Barça, waar coach Tito Vilanova eindelijk weer op de bank zit.

Moeten we de UEFA nu dankbaar zijn? Het was een onwaarschijnlijk vreemde beslissing om de schorsing van Zlatan Ibrahimovic terug te brengen van twee speeldagen naar één. De frustratieschop van de PSG-spits op Andres Guardado van Deportivo was er immers niet naast. Maar nu kunnen we wel likkebaarden van het duel tussen Ibracadabra en zijn ex-ploeg FC Barcelona.

Drie jaar geleden vertrok Ibrahimovic op Camp Nou. Amper één seizoen had hij er achter de kiezen. Zijn relatie met Pep Guardiola, zo schreef hij achteraf in zijn biografie, was te verzuurd. ‘Alles ging goed tot Messi zich ermee bemoeide. Hij wou per se in de punt van de aanval spelen.
